About Our Church

Leeds Community Church is a small rural Presbyterian Church located in Androscoggin County, Leeds, Maine.  We are centrally located approximately 20 miles Southwest of the state capital of Augusta and 20 miles Northeast of the cities of Lewiston/Auburn.  We are associated with the Presbytery of Northern New England  and Mission at the Eastward (MATE).

Leeds Community Church is proud of its history of making its facilities open to the wider community. Due to ongoing concerns about the coronavirus, our building is temporarily closed. Following CDC guidelines, Gov. Mills has prohibited churches from holding live worship services until June. At that point, provided that infection rates aren’t spiking as businesses reopen, gatherings of less than 50 people will hopefully be allowed. LCC’s leadership has decided to plan on restarting live worship services on Sunday, June 7, 2020, provided that conditions at that point allow us to do so. Until the building can be re-opened to the public, worship will continue to be live-streamed on Facebook and bulletins and sermons will be posted under “Sunday Services.” (Live-streaming will continue when we’ve resumed live worship services.)
